About My Loving God

About My Loving God website

Welcome to the My Loving God website! My name is Sarah Linde (aka Tianen L.) and I work as a volunteer for Global Media Outreach, an organization that shares Jesus online with people all over the world. I hope to give information that would help you in your walk with God. I hope you will find and follow the God who made you and loves you.

My Message

My Loving God teaches people about God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). God is One (united) (Mark 12:29, John 17:11). I believe in the inerrant word of God and the authority of the Bible.

1. Jesus is Lord. He is the Son of God who came to earth in the flesh to pay the penalty of our sins. He died on the cross for all mankind in order to become our substitute before God. He took upon Himself our punishment for sins so that we can live. Jesus rose bodily from death in victory, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for believers. (John 3:16-18)

2. People everywhere should repent and believe in Jesus in order to be saved from sins and eternal punishment. Only Jesus’ blood paid our sin debt in full. If we believe in Jesus, God gives us eternal life. (Acts 20:21)

3. After having believed, we should live a life in keeping with what we believe by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • “…Walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).
  • “…Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light” (Colossians 1:10-12).
  • “I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds” (Acts 26:20).

4. It is still possible for Christians to sin after believing in Jesus. We need to ask God’s forgiveness for our sins. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

5. If a Christian keeps sinning deliberately (using Jesus’ sacrifice as a license to sin), then this is mocking Jesus’ blood. “For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries” (Hebrews 10:26-27). There are many other verses that say similar things: James 2:18-20, Galatians 5:19-21, Luke 13:6-9, Matthew 3:10, Matthew 7:21-23, Revelation 21:6-8, etc. To such people, Jesus says: “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, and do not do what I say?” (See Luke 6:46-49). If you are sinning on purpose, repent and turn away from doing bad things. If you ask God’s forgiveness, He will forgive you.

6. After having believed, we need to keep learning from God and to know Him more and do His will. We need to work with God to overcome our sins. Everyone has something more to learn from God and to get ever closer to God. No one can say they have reached perfection, because even the Apostle Paul had more to learn: “Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on…” (Philippians 3:12).

7. Christians need to examine ourselves frequently as the Bible says: “Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves!” (2 Corinthians 13:5). And see what is the intent of our hearts. “Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight” (1 John 3:21-22).

My Loving God tries to give as much information as possible to all people about God and Christianity, no matter where they are in their faith or even if they are skeptics. A part of this website contains apologetics material, including creation vs evolution, reasons to believe, and answers to frequently asked questions about Christianity. The other part of this website contains discipleship material and articles on how to grow your faith, be closer to God, and how to live as a Christian.

Overall, you can find a bit about God through every article.

This website also hopes to clear some misconceptions about Christianity. Many people have a lot of questions and there is also a lot of misinformation so that many have questioned God’s goodness. I hope to answer some of those questions here, and to show you through God’s word how He truly is a wonderful loving God.

Special Thanks

Special thanks to the ministries that teach God’s word and the people from whom I have learned. Thanks be to God and the Lord Jesus for showing and teaching me many things over the years. He is the one Teacher from whom we all learn and through whom we have eternal life.
